Do Goldfish fins regenerate?

We have an aquarium for my DD that had 4 fish in it, all goldfish. One recently died of "natural causes" (we think) and now another one has a broken fin. One of the goldfish seems to have attacked this one. I don't know if it is because she is now weak or if the other goldfish has caused this.

Anyway, we've separated out the injured one and I'm curious if the other fish will heal her fin? Any thoughts?

I don't know. I really don't much about fish.

It should grow back. But the thing is sometimes they lose their fins because of diseases. If he's sick it won't grow back unless you find the problem.

I have a goldfish that was the weakest in the tank and it's tankmates at his fins and tale off. I have separated him for about 4 months now and they are growing back but do not seem very strong, he has a hard time swimming and spends most of the day lying around in the plants...not sure if he will ever get better or not.

The fish otherwise seems healthy. I hope it grows back.

I can't believe that these fish have lived together for 9+ months and one is attacking another. Makes me wonder how the first one really died!

Thanks everyone!
