Hi all Whats the deal with Gatwick Hilton?
Im trying to book a room 2 Adults and 2 kids Every option I take im being told Max 3 in the room!
What do I do put 1 in the kennels with the dog?!
Any help would be great Im pulling me hair out!
We stayed there a couple of years ago. We had several rooms (can't remember exactly how many - we were travelling with friends). Each one had two queens, plus a rollaway which we hadn't asked for!
Whats a queen Deb ,Bit smaller than double I presume? " of them and arollaway would be great but it looks like I cant book that on the net!!
Im mebbe gonna have to ring.
We've stayed there twice. The first time (1998) we booked via Virgin and the second (2002) ABC Holiday extras. Each time we had a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds as well as 15 nights parking. We had to pay extra (another £50 I think) for a family room.
I had the same problem trying to book on the net. In the end I telephoned them direct and there was no problem booking one room for two adults and two children with car parking.
Had this problem with them many times. They won't allow more than one child in a normal room, even though 2 will physically fit ! They only have normal rooms available via the web site. Book through ABC or a travel agent and you have access to 'family' rooms which are the size of two normal rooms but run together. They have one king bed and two singles. Don't even think about booking these direct with Hilton - prices are just plain silly. Go via ABC Holiday Extras for the best price.
Ask for a family room overlooking the atrium - nice view and surprisingly we have found these quieter than the ones in the wings.
