I know at WDW some attractions will have no Fastpasses left for the day as early as 11 AM depending on the crowds. (I specifically remember being nearly trampled for Expedition Everest FP.) From what I have read, at DCA FP distribution is a little more generous with return times and usually closer to the actual time you receive the FP (not a return time of 6:30 PM at 10:30 AM.)

SO, that has me wondering - are there attractions that run out of FP really early in the day where if you don't get them first thing in the AM, you don't get a FP? If so, what would be the typical ones that do?

Thanks!

It does depend on the crowd. There are a certain number of FP for each time slot. If all those FP are taken for that time slot the next time slot will start and then once those are taken so on...It can go pretty quick. I remember this past June I saw a return time for Splash Mountain as 9:30PM and it was only 2PM

Star Tours would be my main concern so I would try to get a Fast Pass for that first. After that, just prioritize the rides you want most.

World of Color is another high-priority FastPass, but their fastpasses aren't connected to other rides. Also when you get a Fastpass in DCA that doesn't affect your ability to get one in Disneyland.

For Disneyland, Star Tours will go first, followed by Space, then Indy. It completely depends on how crowded the day is. On slow days, Space and Indy don't run out until very late, if at all. On busy days, I've seen them run out around 1:00 in the afternoon and I've never been to the park on CRAZY busy days so I bet it could go faster than that.

I was there the Saturday of President's Day weekend in 2010. I spent most of the day on DCA, but I hopped over to DL to get Indy fastpasses and they were all out by noon. I didn't check any others, it was so crowded I was just focused on getting back into DCA which was managably crowded rather than insane.

That is the order. If it's busy and hot maybe Splash too.

But the main one is Star Tours since it has been running out late morning since it reopened a month ago.

In DCA, GRR can sometimes run out, but this is a pass you can't get in the morning even while the attraction is open. So they give out far less tickets later. It also need the hot and crowded conditions to make this happen.
