We stayed at VB one time and we were in an Inn room. So if you book a studio instead of an Inn room, are the studios located in the outhouses?

Probably call them out buildings, but yes. All buildings have laundry rooms!

Everyone gets free laundry at VB: points bookings, discounted DVC member cash bookings if available, and regular cash bookings. None of the laundry rooms have any paid washers or dryers. They do have soap and fabric softener available for purchase.
