Does anybody exchange e-mails with their DVC guide? I've noticed that they don't list e-mail addresses on their business cards. It'd be easier for me to just shoot my guide an e-mail rather than having to call if I have a question or something.

Apparently it is DVC's policy that they not do outgoing email though some have done so. Most don't give out their email address but some do. My guide will accept email but calls rather than respond. I'm sure the main issue is that written responses could be used against them legally if not worded carefully.
Our guide was happy to email, when we were purchasing, but I guess that is due to the time difference here and the majority of the emails were to confirm times to call.
My guide email to tell me about common knowledge type items or to give me an update on his progress on things but will use the phone to discuss dollars or points.
Sometimes I'll email him if I need to talk to him- since he may see the email before he can check his messages.
I have our guides email address but he's not allowed to respond via email. I will sometimes email him with a question and the phone # where he can reach me and he will return my email with a phone call.
