Do DTD restaurants take Disney gc's?

I would assume they don't, but will be pleasently surprised if they do. Just trying to get my finances (and reservations) in order.

No, I do not believe they do so because they are not associated with Disney and are run separately.

I know they do not take gift cards but I had heard they took Disney Dollars. I may remember it wrong

They don't take giftcards per disneygiftcard.com.

Disney Dollars, yes, though. From various spots in the DTD section on disneyland.com:

"All shops in the theme parks and Downtown Disney® District also accept Disney Dollars."

"All restaurants take Disney Dollars as a form of cash."

Glad to have found this thread! I am planning on buying some disney dollars as a form of budgeting for our trip expenses. Does anyone know if the info previously mentioned about DTD restaurants accepting Disney Dollars is still accurate? Thanks!
