Do Disney Visa Rewards work for cruises?

The ad flashing at the top of the screen caught my attention. After a break to my Discover Card (they were offering 5% this month in certain categories), I'm looking at switching my card-du-jour back to the DRV to save up for our next trip (five looonnng years from now.)

But then I saw the cruise ad, and DH would LOVE to take a cruise, any cruise, and the kids would love if it was Disney.

So does anyone know? If I saved up tons of points on my DRV, could I use that towards a cruise someday? Because that would (to quote Flynn) Stupendous!

Yes, they do. DH and I have paid for 2 DVC member cruises with our rewards. They also work for DVC annual dues. Paid ours last year with DRV

I've used mine on board for excursions, drinks, etc.
