do disney people have a strange sense of time?

doesnt it seem that disney fans have a strange and a bit warped sense of time. people seem to get excited when their countdown clock goes from 300 to 299 or 100 to 99 people want to dance or you want to beat on your computer because your clock isnt moving fast enough or you are getting a sense of urgency because the 90 day moment is approaching and you havent made PS's for your dining arrangements

well i gotta go now. i just fixed my computer because of reasons mentioned earlier and i have to go and buy new shoes because i wore them out from dancing, clock is now at 82 days!!!!, i still havent made my PS reservations yet


well time for my nap. i am still tired from getting up early the other morning to secure an illumnations cuise

Yup. Sometimes I think it is sad that I will wish away months at a time to get closer to a trip to WDW. Also the fact that I think monetarily in terms of financing Disney trips. $10,000 . . . nope that is 2.75 Disney trips! I guess we are all a little nuts.

I'm one of those people!! I got excited when I went under 300 days...now I'm looking forward to being under 200!!! I build it up so much that when it gets to less than a week I can't handle the anticipation!!

We go three times a year, so our countdown calendar never starts at a high number!!

We leave in 13 days. And the day after we get home, I will be counting the next trip down.

Would not want it any other way!!

I think it's a special sort of DISney folk that have that special sense of time. Most of my family does get the Disney magic but last night when I was talking with them about their October trip (that I sadly cannot attend) and started encouraging them to make plans in July to call for their PS, especially since they think they can easily just go to Cinderella's castle for breakfast without a PS, etc. I think they thought I was crazy, except for my 3 year old niece who spent the rest of the night saying "We can't forget to call Cinderella in July, Uncle Mike said so!" hahaha She's on the right track at least!

I think I am more excited than my kids. Every morning I tell them how many more days we have left til we go. Today is 44 more days. To them that is still a long way away - to me it is getting pretty close.

I was so excited when I had less than 1 year. I have 320 days to go, and 230 to make PS's.

Kids and DH thinks I have lost it.
