Do DISers every dis your employer?

Do you ever read posts from fellow DISers ranting on about what a horrible company such and such is, and that is the company you work for? Do you say anything?

Today there was a discussion about cable service providers and I was defending mine because I really have not had any major issues with them and they have been easier for me to deal with than other providers I have had. At the time I was posting, I totally forgot that they may be my employer next year. Someone commented that I must be an employer for them. I then realized, ooops, I almost am. Still does not change my opinion.

Some of the shows my networks air get slammed or raved about. Sometimes mistakes that are made are pointed out. I pass the info on to the proper people at work.

Sure! Hubby works for amazon. Last year this time he worked to support Sellers. This year he's in the Kindle department. We actually met in 2000 while doing customer service there.

But I always try to help when people complain about it...I learned in CS that usually problems are caused by misunderstandings. Clear up the misunderstandings and that often clears up the apparent problem.

Yes, yes, yes. My company even has a very POPULAR Disney product. They are always bashing the company I work for but I'm not allowed to say anything. Against company rules to do so in public.

My employer is bashed everywhere, and frankly it deserves it (I work for the Federal Government. )

My employer gets bashed on the Dis from time to time, but so does our competitor. I don't usually comment on the posts and just ignore the posts. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and though I really like my company, I don't find it worth my effort to defend it on an internet board.

I work for the air force ( I am civil servent). I was active duty so if I saw read someone bashing the military I would for sure speak up and say something but I don't see it too often or I am very good at not seeing it
Not here but another board I go to this one girl who still goes to the board made a comment about those marines who video taped themselves throwing those dogs over a ledge I think it was. She said something like why are people surprised that they are trained to behave like this and to be cold or something to that affect really rude. Yes I thought they did a horrible thing but to put down all Marines in their category I was furious. I still don't speak to her.
