Do direct prices every year? Is there warning?

I have never really watched dvc direct price so I don’t know the history.
Do direct prices increase every single year? Im assuming they have in the last few years because Disney could raise prices and people would still pay.
Im wondering about this coming year or two? Are they really going to be able to raise prices and expect to sell in this economic climate?

Also when they do raise prices do you know in advance? I am really considering getting 100pts direct this year or next but would hate to have to pay more because prices go up overnight.
