Do current non-DVC Disney Properties ever convert to DVC?

Like, for instance...ones on the monorail? I have a friend who would love to buy DVC, but they don't like the Disney buses...

Just curious. I thought I saw a few posts about the CR maybe becoming a DVC...but I don't know if that was wishfull thinking or a possibility.

Thanks in advance!

The beach club added a new section for the villas and I believe wilderness lodge did also, so I can see that happening in the future.

That CR rumor has been floating around for quite some time. I think everyone would like a monorail DVC resort, but you'll notice that Disney has avoided them, for some reason. SSR is still in its beginning stages, so I doubt they'll do anything until it's nearly finished.

actually SSR is in it's last phase being built now. I don't think it will be very long before it sells out. My guide told me it has sold very well at the f&f deal. It is going to be completed in 2007. Hopefully it won't be that long before we get another DVC resort added.

Unless he or she only wants to go to EPCOT and Magic Kindgom, they'd have to take a bus anyway, right?
