Do crocs work for narrow feet?

OK--after reading all of the rave reviews about crocs I tried some on but they are very loose. My feet are narrow everywhere except in the toe area, which is close to regular size. I wear a women's 9 or 9 1/2.

I have read about heating crocs to mold them to the shape of my feet. Will this work for my narrow feet?

Thanks for the help!!!

I have not only narrow, but really skinny feet and I can wear the Cayman style but not the Beach. The Cayman is sized in whole sizes, unlike the Beach which is sized by S, M, L, etc. The Cayman is also slightly narrower.
That said, they should feel loose. They should not touch anywhere except the sole. Weird, I know, but it works.
Heating is not required for them to mold to your feet. They will do that on their own after a few days of wearing them.
I ordered mine from zappos.com because I knew they had an excellent return policy so I didn't feel I was risking anything. Shipping was free, also.

I have also been wondering about this. I have very narrow feet too!
Since I like Zappos too, I just ordered my first pair. I took hunnypots advice and ordered the Cayman. It also said to order one or two sizes smaller than your normal size, so I went one size below. Hopefully, they'll work for me.

When you receive them, can you tell me how they worked out for you please? I also have very narrow feet and I am flat footed. From all the Croc lovers here, I think I have been roped in. Sneakers just don't cut it anymore in Disney. I was there in Sept and my feet hurt by the 3rd day. I am planning another trip and I am willing to try Crocs. I wear a size 9 sneaker but a size 8 1/2 dress shoe. What size would any Croc expert recommend for me? TIA!

I have very very narrow feet also... long toes.. size 10 womens... and I ordered the size L beach. THey arrived today UPS... but I'm at work.. boo! I will let you know how they feel.. I hope hope hope they fit fine!

I got my crocs yesterday! I do have narrow narrow feet and they fit great. I'm a size 10 and I got large which is women's 10-11.. they said to go a size down and I"m sure happy I didn't my toe hits the end. I'm going to do the dryer trick to see if they can't loosen up a bit. They're pretty comfy but all shoes feel great on me.. I'll test them at cedar point or niagara falls before my next disney trip....

A sticky Croc FAQ thread or shoe board is sooooo needed.

Benjen will let you know. I normally wear a 9, so I ordered an 8. (which Zappo's recommended) They shipped today, so will get them on Friday.

Thanks for the help everyone! I just ordered the Cayman style from Zappos. Hopefully they'll fit!

I am an 8 1/2 wide in women's and I order a 9 in crocs and have had no problem with fit.

I am hoping that they will make a sneaker tpye shoe. I'd buy it in a minute!!!!!

Received my crocs and they are to short. They suggested ordering a size smaller, well not for me. I ordered the caymans, so they wil be on their way back. I will try others though. They were comfy and very light weight.

Put your foot in and then staple around it. :thumbsup2

How "too short" are they? Mine are just right if not on the short side and I, too, ordered just my size.. no size smaller thank heavens! The reason I ask is there are ways to make them "bigger".. stretch the back strap or there is a trick with putting them in the drier that might help?

I find the opposite to be true. I wear a 7, but I have to have an 8 in the Crocs.

The same thing happened to me. I had to send mine back and get the next size up. I hope these ones work better, they were really comfortable!

Here's a link to the sizing info on Crocs.com:
http://www.crocs.com/products/footwear/sizing.jsp

I've used the dryer trick on 2 pairs successfully, but it was to loosen the strap so my toes wouldn't be pushing the edge, not to make the shoes fit tighter. They're supposed to be loose, as the site linked above will explain.
