I was just curious I was about to leave on a flight today and I wanted to know if anybody had any problems with them. Thanks.

I've flown in my Crocs for my past 3 flights..no problem. There really isn't anything in them that would be an issue.

cool i was wondering. I've had many a sneeker set them off because of some hidden little gems. I saw the buttons on the strap and was just making sure.

When we flew out of NY on 8/23, we had to put our footwear thru the x-ray machines. This also included my kids shoes. When we left Orlando, we just took our shoes off. I don't know if this is an FAA rule due to heightened security or routine for the NY/NJ, but I remember that we had to take off our shoes last year flying out of NJ. :flower:

I looked up the rules for United recently since we're leaving for Disney soon, and as of Sept 1st EVERYONE has to take off their shoes at security no matter what. Flip flops, crocs, sneakers, whatever.

yes you will have to take your shoes off.

There is no metal in Crocs...
