Do codes apply to concierge reservations

I am planning a Christmas trip and wanted to treat myself to concierge. Do you get discounts on this level with the codes that come out?

In my experience when I have tried to book concierge with a code, they tell me they are booked or not available. When i arrived at the resort, they were not booked and I was able to upgrade. This has happened twice, so last year I just booked concierge with no code and paid rack rate. This year I will definitely try again. Good Luck

We stay frequently on the concierge floor using either our Florida resident discount or AP. We're going next week arriving on 2/2 and we're staying on the concierge floor at the Yacht Club again and both FL resident and AP rates were available to me.

Last fall we were booked with a AAA discount at the Polynesian, lagoon concierge. Then a general code came out and I WAS able to use the discount code for our reservation. In fact, it saved us so much that we decided to change the reservation into a package to take advantage of the Dining Plan.

So yes, the discount codes that come out CAN be used for concierge rooms, as long as there is availability.

I booked 8 night at the Contemporary Concierge for Christmas 2006 with a AAA discount.

Our Dec 05 trip was booked through AAA, at the AKL in a deluxe room (5 in our family) when the codes came out, I called to see if we could apply, and we were told that the only rooms available for the code were concierge, so we upgraded (at a total cost of $100.00)

We used a general room-code discount for the Poly. garden-view concierge Easter/Spring Break '05.
