Do CM's get OT for working Thanksgiving and Christmas?

I always feel that it's unfair for people to have to work holidays and be away from their families but I understand Disney cant close during the holidays. I was just hoping that Disney financially compensates the workers when they do have to work on a holiday.

Yes. Full time CMs get 8 hrs of holiday pay for

• New Years Day
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

Part time CMs get time and a half for hours worked on

• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day
• New Years Eve Day
• Easter Sunday
• Memorial Day

My sister and her boyfriend both work at Disney. My sister was in an internship, so it ended before the holidays. Her boyfriend barely ever gets time off to spend with his family and friends. They both work @ CBR in bell services and front desk management.

Years past to qualify for holiday pay you bad to work the day before or the day after as well. It was a stupid rule that made it where a ton of workers didn't qualify since they would get their standard 2 days off before and after the holiday.
