Do CMs ever make kids take off shoes for rides w/height requirements?

I was wondering if they ever do this is at rides with height requirements for children who just meet the height? DD is exactly 40 inches (measured at pedi today with no socks/shoes) but usually wears her Elsa heels in the park with her Elsa dress. They are toddler heels, not stilts lol but with the heels, she probably gets an extra inch of height. Just wondering if they would ever make her take them off to be sure of her 40 inch height. Thanks!

Yes, I've seen CMs ask for kids to remove their shoes if the kid looks close to the height requirement.

I haven't seen it. But, I've seen parents putting heel lifts in kids' shoes to make the height limit!
I was amazed, to say the least!

Yes. I have seen CM ask children to remove their shoes several times. In fact, they got my daughter once and she was just a few millimeters too short. She was disappointed, but they gave her a bunch of stickers and a future rider certificate that entitled her to a fast pass.

It isn't commonplace, but it has happened and not something CMs are opposed to doing. In your DD's case, I'd say there's a 99% chance she'll be asked to remove her shoes.

My daughter was about a 1/2 inch over the requirement when we last went but, to be sure she had no problems, we got her a pair of skechers with really thick soles. No problem making the height requirements, nothing fishy about wearing sneakers and, probably, way more comfortable than wearing heels. You could probably let her wear the heels around the park if she really wants them but discreetly change her shoes before getting on certain lines to avoid the problem.
