Maximum occupancy in DVC rooms?

I know in resorts you can have 4 people plus a child under 3 in a regular room. Wondering if it would be the same with DVC.

We are planning a trip for 11, but 2 of the kids going will be 1. Wondering if Ill be able to book a 2b villa for 9

Thanks!!

1 child under 3 does not count.

If the max occupancy is 9, you can have 9 plus 1 under three. It sounds like you want 9 plus 2 under three. That would not be allowed.

Occupancy limits for DVC are stated in the same way as Disney in general, some specific number plus an occupant under 3. Note, as with Disney in general, they are not stated as more than one occupant under 3 in addition to stated capacity, but that is unlikely to be an issue. The number you have will in any event be a large crowd for a 2BR and if you want a 2BR instead of going to three, I would suggest sticking with BLT or AKV Kidani which have larger rooms than most, the extra sleeper chair, and three bathrooms, or OKW, which has the sleeper chair but only two bathrooms, but the largest rooms available.

Thank you!

Its good to know its limited to one under 3 per room :)

You're not limited to 1 under three, only if you are at the room max can you have 1 additional if under three.

Now I'm picturing a Grand Villa with one adult and twelve toddlers. Thank you for that image :rotfl:
