I was reading on the resorts board that the world cheer and dance championships has rented out all three All Star resorts for all or at least a portion of the week we are going in April. Since that is roughly 1/6th of the onsite room availability (about 5,500 of the approximately 30,000 onsite rooms), I am curious whether the attendees have any measurable effect on the FP+ process. I was thinking perhaps that:
(1) Since their schedule is potentially unknown or they may be focused more on the competition, they are less likely to book at 60 days out; or
(2) at the opposite end of the spectrum, maybe their group organizers plan in bulk for people and book everything for them?
Any thoughts or insights?
