Do characters attend at Chef Mickey's for dinner?

Yes they are at the dinner. Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy & Donald are there.

We enjoy Chef Mickeys and visit it every time were at WDW. It is a good choice.

We had din-din there and loved it. All I ate was the tail on cold shrimp and cocktail sauce. I think I had sixty of the little yum yums!!!! Kids can make their own cupcakes with frosting and topping. Very fun. All the above mentioned characters are there. They crank some fun dance music and the characters all twirl the green napkins and get everyone else to do it too. It's a riot! It's terrific fun to take the monorail right into the Contemporary too. Lots of shops inside there also. It's a blast, do it!
