All the American shows (Dancing with the Stars, Americas Got Talent, American Idol for example) have featured a British judge. I realize some of these shows originated in the UK, but I was just wondering if the UK shows have American judges.
No. Strictly Come Dancing's judges are Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Arlene Phillips (replaced by Alesha Dixon last year). Britain's Got Talent is judged by Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. X Factor (which replaced Pop Idol) has been hosted by Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Danii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne.
So no Americans but a couple of Australians, one Italian and an Irish bloke.
I have watched many of these shows and the only British judge worth his weight in gold is the judge from "So you think you can dance." He knows what he's talking about and isn't rude about it. He's tough but encouraging.

Piers Morgan is much more easy going this year on Americas got Talent and Simon Cowell really knows what he is talking about on American Idol. He may be pretty rough at times but he is good.
