Do boys do the princess meals?

I have two boys ages 7 & 5. We ate at Akershus in June and they loved the attention from the Princesses. In every picture they are smiling from ear to ear. When Aurora kissed each of them I thought they would kill over from pure joy.

Although my dh tried to get me to cancel the ressie, I'm so glad I didn't.

Next time I think we will do the castle.

I planned breakfast at CRT for my 2 flower girls, but when my ring bearer found out they were eating in the "castle" he asked to go, too. He ate and talked witht he rest of us, was a little shy when the princesses came around, but had a great time just being in the castle, he was so excited to run over and look out the window, that's all he really wanted to do.

The last time we ate at 1900 Park Fare for dinner my DD was 9 and her brothers were 9 and 10. The boys had just as much fun (if not more)as their sister. The "step-sisters and evil step-mother" were a riot. They kept teasing the boys about "why in the world would you let your sister go out in public dressed like Cindy?" We had a blast. They did not dress up. We have a dinner in Norway planned for April. I hope they will like it just as much. They are 10 and 12 now and I think they will love the attention from the pretty girls even if they won't admit it.

Took DS to CRT when he was in Kinder. He LOVED it. It was the highlight of his trip. For whatever reason, there were SO MANY boys there that day. Belle grabbed a sword and she and DS had a sword fight. Very fun. Snow kissed him. She kissed him again when I was upset that I didn't get a pic of her in the act. DS just felt like a prince for the rest of the day. He especially loved telling all who would listen that Snow kissed him, not once, but TWICE.

Took DS8 to Akershus this past June. It wasn't so much the princesses as Norway that he was interested in. (I'm half Norweigian, thus his interest). Anyway, he ended up getting all excited to see what the princesses would do this time. He loved it.

We didn't dress up either time. Just went and enjoyed ourselves. Both meals were favs on each trip.

Do boys do the princess meals or are these mostly geared for girls? Please tell me what your preschool boys did if you took them to see the princess meals.

On our last Trip (July 2009) we(including DS7) ate @ 1900 Park Fare w/Cinderella, Step-Mother, 2 Step-Sisters and Prince Charming....DS was fine w/it all and enjoyed it too I think..Prince Charming helped I think w/it not being all Princesses......this time around we will be going to CRT, 1900 Park Fare and Akershus....DS just asked that we do "non-princess" too for him.

Yeah! I'm so excited now! We're taking our boys (ages 6 and 3) to 1900 Park Fair for dinner next week!

My 4 year old adores the princess crew. He shouted at Disney on Ice "see you next month Cinderella!" We did Akershus last year and are headed back to Akershus and 1900 PF next month's trip as well. He enjoys it all and is already hoping for hugs and kisses from the pretty princesses.

My 6 year old however does not. He hid under the table at Akershus last year and we are splitting them up for dinner this year cause I don't want to force him to do something he obviously doesn't like. It isn't a girl-boy thing though he does like "characters." Oh well, right? At least one of my boys like the girly aspects of Disney. :)
