We will be using the ART shuttle to go from our hotel to DL.

But what I'm wondering is this: How can we get to Paradise Pier if we do a character breakfast one morning?

Are there Disney buses?

Does the ART shuttle go to DL hotels?

You can take the ART to DL, walk through DTD, then through the lobby of the GC and walk across the street to Paradise Pier.

That sounds like a bit of a walk - you may want to see what hotels are closest to PP and see if the ART goes to them - might be closer than the walk from DL to PP.
When we stayed at PP we actually walked to the Monorail station and then rode the Monorail into the park to save walking! Sounds wimpy - but with a full day of walking ahead (especially if you have little kids) - conservation can help!
Also - the front desks are usually really helpful - call PP and ask what they usually recommend!

You might have to switch shuttles for that area. Where are you staying? I stayed at PP and the Anaheim Hilton. Once we moved that is the way I went.

You may want to go to the ART website and check the various routes. They do not service the DLR hotels.

We discovered that the Esplanade (between Harbor/DL/DCA/DTD) is not open until after 7 am. It's not a big deal UNLESS you are trying to get from Harbor to your character breakfast for a 7 am seating!! :scared1:

The good news is that valet parking is included in the price of your meal (although your tip is not). We did Storytellers for the forest characters, 7 am Dec 14th. LOVED it!

Just thought I'd pass that little tidbit on.. .

Happy planning!

The walk from the ART drop off at DL to the PP is maybe 8 - 10 minutes tops. Really it is not a big deal, I would do what the other poster said about walking through to DTD, then through the Grand (a beautiful lobby not to be missed) and out the front doors and across the street.
