Do AP perks apply on blackout dates?

I'm a FL resident and thinking about getting the Pixie Pass just for the perks. I've got 2 single day, weekday trips planned in the next few months, so parking+pass would already equal 340$. Assuming I hit mnsshp, buy a few things and eat a meal or two in the next year, it'll pay for itself.
If I buy a day ticket for a blackout date, do I still get the free parking (and other discounts)?
And just to confirm, if they bring back the rest of the APs, I can always upgrade my active pass to a higher tier?

I don’t know about parking but I know AP discounts you get as we went to springs a few weekends ago when Pirate was on blockout and got merch discounts at co-op

You will want to call the AP holders line and ask.
To my knowledge, blackout dates only apply to tickets/reservations. At all other AP benefit touch points, they are just checking to see if you have. a valid AP. For instance, when buying merchandise, they don't scan your AP at all, they just check your MDE app and State ID.

In the future, if more APs become available, you will be allowed to upgrade (at least we were allowed to in the past).

Just a heads up that this may change in the future as they recently made changes to DL AP benefits. DL AP can no longer be used for things like parking or discounts on blackout days.

Parking is not guaranteed, and is subject to capacity, availability in Disney's discretion, and applicable Pass blockout dates (i.e. a Pass is not valid for parking on a date for which such Pass is blocked out).

Unfortunately if they make changes, there is no guarantee original perks will be grandfathered in. I'm thinking of people who booked Savi's prior to the most recent price change. Even though they'd booked at a certain price, they will have to pay the increased price when they build their Light Saber. Sadly Disney is not known for grandfathering these days.

Thank you. This is good to know.

It is frustrating because the parking lots at the WDW parks are never full. And since they are restricting who can visit resorts (without a reservation) parking at the parks and using other transport was one of the options to get around. I guess we are all supposed to leave our cars at Disney Springs and overcrowd those garages.
