Hello! i am usually on the disney wedding and honeymoon area, but i came over here for an answer to a question. there are 6 in my DF family and they need to know if any rooms accomodate them without spending an arm and a leg. please let me know if anyone can help!:confused3

The All Star Resorts (I don't know which one) have some family suites that sleep 6 for around $200 a night.

All-Star Music has 192 Family Suitea available. Cost is typically the same as two regular rooms at rack rate:

Of course, you always have the option of getting two regular rooms, but the Family Suites give you a kitchenette, which is not available in regular rooms.

I was quoted a cost of $248.60 for the family suite yesterday. This was for November. Not sure of the cost during the summer.

The Family start at $184 during value season.
The Family Suites are also included in some of the discount codes and AAA discounts. A guest just reported on the Family Suite FAQ thread that she was able to snag a 40% discount on a Family Suite so keep your eyes for a great rate.

A little info:
DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) in Sept. of 2006'

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no metal bar to hurt the sleepers back.

I did get to use my 40% off code on the family suite. But I was assuming that was 40% off the $248. I thought I was getting a good deal. Now I'm not so sure if someone got it for $150 and value season is $184.

I wonder why my quote of $248 is so high? Did they give me a higher price on the room since I was getting 40% off?

The Suites start at $184 and go up $315 in 2008 depending on the season and weekend prices.

Thanks that helped a lot!!! I am going in November during Regular Season. The rates when I am going are $220 on weekdays and $240 on weekends, and these rates do not include the 13.5% tax. So I see that my quote of $248 was right. I didn't realize that the rates go up to $315! I think I ended up getting it for around $188.

Thanks again for the help!!
