I won't do an upside-down highchair, but thanks ;)

Any table service restaurants have the actual slings that you can buckle an infant seat into?

I need to plan our ADRs and am trying to decide what to do with the baby. He'll only be 4 months on our trip, so he won't be able to sit in a highchair. I can't decide if we should bring the carseat with us to the parks (in a stroller) and then keep him in the seat for meals or if we should try to find some other alternate idea.

or - not eat at TS restaurants

I don't know if I saw any of those sling style holders at WDW. If you don't want to do the upside down highchair thing, maybe you could stick to restaurants with booths where you could set the carseat next to you in a booth. I also used to set my DS's carseat "bucket" right on the table in some restaurants (not at Disney, but at home). Or you could always roll the stroller with the seat on it right into the restaurant. I took DS's stroller in a few places while we were in WDW. I'm sure that would be an acceptable option for an infant. Hope that helps a little!

I havent seen the carseat hammocks either. They do use the usual wooden fromed chairs. Evenflo's carseats used to fit into their high chairs right side up, so others may by now, too. I'm not sure what your adversion to the upside down highchair is, they are pretty sturdy when positioned correctly, but the only other option I can think of is a baby carrier, which you should bring with you anyway since there are places the baby can go that the stroller cant.

I won't use an upside down highchair because I've seen a baby's seat fall out of it and many restaurants won't even allow it anymore (they'll tell you flat out that it's too high a liability for their restaurant's accident insurance).

I do plan to bring a carrier, but it's hard to eat with a baby in front of you ;)
