where you can watch Illuminations other than Rose and Crown?

If you want it for viewing of Illuminations, Counter Service in Mexico has a patio area on the water with a great view. Get there early, though because anyone can sit there. Also, people may try to push in front.

CS in Mexico if you can get there early enough and stake out your spot. There isn't another table service spot with a patio.

Word is that you can dine at Tokyo Dining and request a window seat. It's raised a level from the sidewalk level so you shoudn't have issues with people standing in front outside. I've never done it, though.

I've not been during very busy times, but if going low to moderate, I would say at least an hour. I remember we got a table & had 1 adult stay with the kids while the other went to get food from the Mexico CS. By the time we finished getting the food, others had just begun to sit at the tables and many were also getting food or drinks. After we ate we just stayed at the table right by the edge and people started crowding in. We ended up with a great view, but we did need to stand and move around a little to keep everyone from going in front of us. Keep in mind that you want to see which direction the wind is also, so you don't get the smoke blown into your view. Good luck and enjoy the show!
