Are there any character meals where the food is so good that you'd go there (and pay the price) even if the characters weren't there? If so, which ones?

Crystal Palace! The characters keep getting in my way! ;)

Crystal palace lunch or dinner, 1900 PF dinner and Donalds Breakfastosaurus I would all eat at for the food.

1900 PF being the best IMHO, the salmon is wonderful.

Breakfastosaurus.... made to order veggie omlettes.... YUMMY.

Crystal Palace... food is very good, the chicken pasta being a real standout to me. We like to have an early lunch here on EE days. I probably still would even wihtout the characters.

1900 Park Fare @ Grand Floridian...Outstanding!

Made to order omlettes and Mickey Waffles.

Plus you get to meet Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter...it is a great time.

I love the food @ LTT! Very "thanksgiving". And, they have the best Strawberry Vinaigrette salad dressing - yum!

This is one of my favorite places to dine at the Magic Kingdom. The character interaction is great and so is the food. Dined here twice on my last trip for lunch and dinner and both meals were very good.

Chef Mickey's is good for breakfast, but I thought dinner was awful and a total waste of money.

Garden Grill is not bad, as is the Liberty Tree Tavern.

Was not thrilled with the 1900 Park Fare on the last trip. Pretty disappointed in the food.

I'd second (or third) 1900 park faire and Crystal Palace. Both had excellant food. I like Crystal Palace food beter than the Boma breakfast buffet.

princess: Shelly

Annette - what a CUTE :flower1: picture

I had lunch at Crystal Palace a couple of weeks ago and it was my favorite meal of the trip. Everything was excellent!

1900 Park Fare is also good. I had a couple of breakfasts there.

What characters are at Crystal Palace - I heard it was only Pooh characters? Where are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy etc. w/ good food???

I like all the character breakfast so far esp the beach club and would probably go to bc even without characters. The only dinner that IMHO had good food was LLT and we also like Garden Grill for lunch, both because its a little something different.

DD loved Hollywood and Vine, good buffet and she loves Minnie as a Movie Star - we miss that one.

Suzanne - the character listings for each meal can be found here:

and a little looking and clicking will get you to the menu's.

Loved the food at CP. And they had a great kids buffet too with tie-dyed bread and a nice dessert bar. Can't wait to go again.

Where are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy etc. w/ good food???

Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto are at donald's breakfastosaurus.

all of them (except Pluto?) and also Minnie and chip and dale are at Cheft Mickeys but I think the food there is horrible.

I have heard great things about the breafast at Cape May with Goofy, Minnie and I'm not certain who else.

I was not overly impressed with 1900 Park Faire - we usually stay at GF and so we usually end up there, but I think that the food is just okay. Our service has been iffy there too at times over the years.

I love LTT - but then again I like to be served, not a big fan of buffets so this could explain why I like LTT better than the buffets like CM and CP. I have never gone to Garden Grill at Epcot - I have it on my list for a try next trip.

for those who don't like 1900 PF. Is the breakfast of Dinner you didn't like? Personally I like the dinner buffet because the offerings are not typical buffet foods. Guess that is why we love Boma also.

Am I the only one who thinks the food at Cindy's Breakfast is good?:o :teeth:

Oh, it's not GREAT, but I think it is very good.

We really enjoyed our breakfast at CRT. Infact I almost mentioned it in my other post. the real standout is the stuffed french toast. I guess since i'm dieting I just blocked it out LOL

Crystal Palace for dinner and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. Both offer enough choices to please everyone in our family.

My choices for breakfast would be Breakfastasourus or CRT.
For dinner probably Crystal Palace but 1900 Park Faire and Chef Mickey's are good too! Although we have had very good and only decent food at each of these for dinner.
