I need one more pin to finish off a series I have. It's the pop cap pins. I went through pin pics. I found someone who I could trade with. Turns out he only wants to trade the whole series that he has. Is this common?

Some people are that way if they have a series, but from my experience it is usually only when pin looks better as part of the group or if they are trying to trade for a whole set of something else.

I did make one trade where someone traded me a set of pins he had for a set I had. But in that case we were both looking for whole set.

I'd be more inclined to sell a full set...
but I have run into a few lately that want either
like an LE 100 to break a set of rack pins in trade!
