In answer to your title question, yes every pvb studio connects to a second studio. In a traditional lodging situation where a hotel/motel has an average occupancy rate of 75-80 % then it generally isn't that difficult to have two connecting rooms available to meet the requests that come in. However,
DVC has traditionally a higher occupancy rate. While it would be helpful if the room assigners were able to check an incoming guests exit date and assign them to a room that joins another guest leaving on that same date, that would also help to meet the requests for adjoining rooms. What complicates everything, though is all the other requests for specific room numbers, sections, etc. The CMs do the best they can to make magic happen on our vacations, sometimes I don't think we give them the appreciation they deserve.
