i booked my flight going down as we have to fly nyc - fll and then orlando back to new york - the flight going down was only $79 - since we're travelling on a thursday -

but coming back - we're travelling on a sunday and the fares are high... do you know think they will come down? we're looking to fly back on august 29th...

thanks for your advice...

I would look at flying out of Islip with SWA. As to your opinion question, since you did not mention when you were flying, it would be hard to guess if they will go down.

sorry if i wasn't clear - we are going down to FLL on 8/19 - but i booked a one way through jetblue at $79 pp... we are returning on 8/29 from MCO to NYC - but are flying out of JFK on the 19th so would prefer to fly back to that airport as well -

just wondering if the flight prices i am seeing now might go down and whether I should wait to purchase - they are considerably higher than $79 right now since we're flying back on a sunday...

thanks!

Friday and Sunday flights are the highest rates out there. We always take the latest flight home on Saturday night b/c of this.

For me, the flights at anytime any day were the same price, 49.00 each way, non stop, plus taxes and fees.

what airline and what airport is that?
nothing like that is available when i'm looking - at least not what i've seen

Rachelfran, that is from Providence to Orlando on SWA. It was an internet special last week. They often do the same thing out of Islip. That is why I suggested it. But, apparently too late as you already have jet blue. I am hoping that Hartford throws a sale, in which case I will just change my flights, at no charge, btw.

Gosh, I hope not. I hear that really hurts.
