Do adults in costume bring trick-or-treat bags to MNSSHP?

We are leaving in 6 days for our trip and will be attending the MNSSHP on Oct. 2. The whole family will be in costume & I'm wondering if I should bring trick-or-treat bags for my husband and myself? I definitely wouldn't ever get one at home, but this is Disneyworld! If you've been there before please let me know if adults have them. Thanks!

We went 2 years ago and they handed trick or treat bags out to everyone as we entered (including adults ). So, yes take them or just use the ones they give you.

NO because they will give one to you

They encourage you to take their candy from them and you don't even need to be in costume to do it. It's part of your ticketing fees.

We went last year and made another quick short trip again this year it's sooooo uch fun.

Now we did all bring one of the string style backpack to put our ToT bags into while just walking or riding the rides .

The plastic bags that Disney gives out are great until one of the kids puts a finger through it and loses all of their candy. So, I bought some inexpensive canvas bags and glow in the dark paints. Each person (3 adults and 3 kids) will be designing their own trick-or-treat bag for the MNSSHP. This way everyone had their own unique design and there will be no fighting over which bag belongs to whom...they're more durable while walking around the park.

what type of candy is given out? Is it all hard candy or chocolate too? We have a small child and so we try to stay away from the hard candy for choking hazzards................

All types of Mars products were given out last year. Snickers ,3 muskateers,skittles,M&M,smarties,tootsie rolls ,taffy,dum-dum pops.

Then they gave out the foil chocolate as well during the parades.

But they had some all fruit little boxes of chewies as well.
