We just booked our vacation on day 89, and it took me a day to get my plans organized, so by the time I called for ressies some of my 1st choices were unavailable.:headache:

Do ADR's pop up due to cancellations a lot? If so, how often do you all recommend that I call back?

Just keep trying. I booked all my adr's 90 days out and didn't get exactly what I wanted. I've called Disney Dining several times to try and change things around, but no luck. It's now less than 60 days until my trip. Just now, I was playing with the new online dining reservations and got a 5:40 p.m. reservation on the day I wanted at the Whispering Canyon Cafe! Keep trying, don't give up! Good luck!

YES THEY DO!!!!

Keep calling as I was able to adjust our Le Cellier ADR's 3 times and was able to adjust our Sci-Fi to the time I wanted!!!! So keep trying as you never know, GOOD LUCK!!

With the new online ARD's it is easy to see if one will open up. I was able to change my ADR for Tusker House from 10:15 am to 8:05 am :cool1: Keep checking!

Yes they do. We checked back every week, couldn't get them, checked with our concierge at the hotel every morning, couldn't get them and then walked right up to the restaurant we wanted and were able to get a seat!

Persistence pays off!

You have to check back online often. I had great luck early in the morning around 6:00. the other day i got a 5:05 Ohana dinner (instead of the 8:10 i originally had) someone must have cancelled. Also they must have put on a block of SciFis the other day, i also got an early dinner time which i wanted and they had various days & times (of course those got all booked up quickly as i checked later on because i was curious) You never know when it is going to happen but checking alot will increase your chances im sure.

Yep, I changed my ADRs several times, just kept trying. Also try 45 days out as people have to pony up their balances or cancel. Plans change all the time. My bet is you will get nearly everything you want!:wizard:

Thanks for the support!:goodvibes I hope you're right.:bitelip:

BTW, enjoy your stay at CBR.:thumbsup2 I can't wait to go.

We made ours at 90 days and got the places we wanted but some were kind of late for little kids. I called and nothing. When they started the online ressies there still wasn't any thing. When I got to about 51 - 52 days before our trip I went online and they had all of the times and switching that I had wanted. I think it is because people started cancelling their trips as I am going before free dining. Just keep trying.

Yes, keep calling. Here's another tip. Call back 45 days before your desired date. It's worked for me. The thinking behind this is if you book through Disney you must pay in full 45 days before arrival. So if you have to cancel or reschedule before full payment is made then your ADRs should be cancelled as well. One thing I'm still wondering about is... with the new system do your ADRs automatically cancel if you cancel your hotel. Anyone???

With the new on line adr's I ck evry chance I can. You never know what can open. I was able to get 2 of my ress earlier.

Like previous posters said they do open up, I know this because I cancelled an Ohana and a CM 2 weeks before we went. You can also keep an eye on the reservation cancellation board which would be helpful.
If you absolutely can not get what you wanted you can always just go to the restaurant and put your name in. We went to Boma in April (one of the busiest times of the year) at 5:30pm and we put our name in and we were seated within 15 minutes.

^^ Keep trying for the reservation you really want. Sometimes people cancel last minute. Also, you can do dining ressies on-line at www.disneyworld.com I had tremendously success getting prefered dining times with the online option. I ended up cancelling some of the dining ressies I made over the phone because some of the times weren't convenient for us (too early or too late). Keep trying. Don't give up and good luck!
