DMR Question & Advice

I need some help regarding your experiences and solutions when it comes to NOT receiving a DMR code in a movie(s) that you purchased. I bought some movies for my oldest son's boys, I did not keep the receipt, when he opened the 4 "current" movies there were no DMR codes and he could not exchange them because they had already been opened. He contacted Disney Movie Rewards about this, but because he had no receipt, they said there was nothing they could do.

I was just wondering how often *you*or someone you know, have bought Disney movies and the DMR codes were NOT in there.

I am sorry that happened to u. That has only happened to me once. U have to make sure that the outside packaging has the Disney Movie Rewards sign on it. I have found that purchasing Disney Movies in some store chains do not have them at all while others do in my area. So I always look before purchasing. I have found that trading for DMR codes here to be quite trouble free.

i had that happen to me, i bought some movies through Disney shopping that were supposed to have codes but didn't. i contacted Disney through the Disney Rewards site and told them the problem.,a couple days later i received an email from them, all i had to do was either fax [i faxed] or mail my proof of purchase, [copy of receipt] to them. about a week later i got my codes. hope this helps.

There was only one time I didn't get a code in the movie. It was underdog the store said this was a movie that a lot of other people said didn't come with a code. Since I had the receipt I had no problems. But, I always check the package to make sure the symbol is there and I keep all receipts. Places will give customers a hard time because they know it's easy to buy a movie, write down the code and return it for a new code.
