Does DME run 24/7? I need to get back home early, so I will prolly have to be picked up either at 3 a.m. or 7 a.m. depending on the flight I book. If I book the earlier flight will DME be running? TIA!

yes, but not the luggage part, for your 7 a.m. the RAC will be able to take your luggage and check you in, if you're being picked up at 7, do the RAC at about 6. For the 3 a.m. pickup you'd be on your own for luggage and check in.

DME runs 24/7..you won't have any issue.
If you book a flight that departs earlier than 8:15 or so, you won't be able to use RAC. You have to be completely finished with your transaction there...bags checked, boarding pass in hand..no less than 3 hrs before flight departure. So, you'll most likely have to take your bags with you, on the bus, back to MCO. But that isn't an issue either.
