DME without flying?

Does anyone know if you can use the Magical Express transportation shuttle to get to MCO without having a flight booked? (meeting family who just arrived, pick up a rental car, etc.)

Does anyone know if you can use the Magical Express transportation shuttle to get to MCO without having a flight booked? (meeting family who just arrived, pick up a rental car, etc.)

You are entitled to 1 trip from MCO to WDW and 1 from WDW to MCO with your room reservation regardless of your mode of transportation.

We were moving off site for our last 2 nights so I booked DME for our check out day and took it back to MCO to pick up a rental car. I then drove back to WDW, picked up my family, and went to our off-site hotel. I gave the DME folks a fictional flight time to make it easier. I wanted to leave POR at 10am, so I found a flight that left MCO at 1pm so I was assigned a bus around 10am.

Yes you can take the DME without arriving by airplane. My cousin rode the Red Coach bus from Atlanta to MCO and then took DME to CBR.. And then rode the DME back to MCO to catch the bus.
