DME with only 1 Person out of a group of 9?

We are driving to Disney with a group of 8(2 Adults and 6 kids) w/ the fd package. My oldest son (18) is flying in 2 days later and is on our resort package. Will he be able to use DME even though none of us needed it? I tried looking this up but failed.

Yes.

You need to make a reservation with DME for him though.

2 years ago, we drove with daughter and grandsons. that left us with no room for niece to come with us. so she flew down and meet us there. in fact she arrived on DME before we made it driving. just make the ressie and enjoy your time together

As long as he's old enough AND on your reservation, not a problem. I don't remember if the age is 14, 16, or 18.
