DME to move to "B" side by mid September

The Disney DME move to the "B" side should be ready to go by mid-September. Opening date has not been set. The Welcome Center will have more space and there will be six commercial spaces available to stage the DME busses. The center will be located underneath the U.S. Air, United, Spirit and Northwest baggage carrousels on the commercial floor (level 1).

What is your source on this? Last time I heard it wasn't going to happen until at least Dec when the current contract runs out!

Once the renovations are complete the changeover could happen on any night.

Once the renovations are complete the airport will want back the space on the A side.

My source is GOAA official with the know. The local Linx bus will be sent to the A-side for [ick up when the renovations are complete and DME is moved.
