DME the next day

We decided to fly out a day early for our Sept trip, but don't want to pay for a WDW hotel for a few hours since we don't get in until about 10p, and there are no DVC hotels available for that Friday night. We are considering staying at the Hyatt at the airport but will not have a rental car.

Can we fly in Friday, stay at the airport and then still use DME on Saturday to go to BLT? I know we will have to get our own luggage off the belt, but that's no problem. Just didn't know how closely they tie flight numbers to number of people traveling on the buses.

Yes, you can do that. Make sure to register for DME. You can either tell them you don't have the flight information for your incoming flight or pick any flight that comes in for that Saturday at about the time you want to get your DME bus. (The latter seem like a lot of nonsense, but that is what some people recommend. The return flight is where you need to be precise.)

DME is a function of your WDW resort stay, not of your flight.. So this really isn't "DME the next day." It's DME on your resort check-in day, so it's perfectly okay.
