DME questions

Hi,
I couple of questions about DME. How often do the buses run between 5 and 6 in the morning? How much time should I allow for getting to the POFQ that early?

Buses aren't 'scheduled'; they're assigned, and depart, as needed. No bus is supposed to sit more than twenty minutes after the first passengers board, but reports vary.

It should take between 70 and 90 minutes from when you step off the jetway into the terminal, until you step off the bus at your resort. Timing based on minimal 'rest stops' inside airport and allowing DME to transport your checked luggage.

My average, after about 5 or so rides with DME, is 70 mins...deplaning to resort checkin. One trip took close to 90 mins, the rest were around an hour...one a bit less.
Your particular timing will depend on how long your various wait times are...in line at the DME checkin counter, at the counter, in line for the bus, on the bus, and then which stop is your resort (first, second, or last). If you have minimal waits, you could be at your resort in less than an hour.

It does seem, though, that if you travel at less busy times of day/night (before 9am, and after 7pm) you may find fewer buses running, therefor making for slightly longer waits at the airport.
