Just give DME about 24 hrs notice.

DME is available for anytime during the reservation. We've had family that had to leave a day early and also family that arrived a day after we checked in. It was no problem scheduling them DME transportation to our resort.

If you know prior to your trip that some people will be leaving early you can set up their DME reservations that way when you make the reservations. If you're not sure they will be leaving early or plans change part way through your stay, another option besides calling DME directly is to talk to someone at the hotel's Concierge desk. It's been a few years since I've done it but when we needed to change our DME reservations part way through a stay, I asked the hotel Concierge what I needed to do and he picked up the phone and made the change for us.

That person should (proactively if not automagically) get the confirmation paper for his Magical Express reservation back to the airport by the morning of the day before the day he will leave. Any needed corrections should be made immediately and the corrected confirmation gotten in hand as soon as is possible.

Later "emergency" changes are not ruled out but could result in a reservation more than 3 hours before that person's airplane flight in order to get an available bus seat.
