DME Question

Hi everyone! We currently have 2 weekends in October booked for Disney just in case our first choice doesn't pan out we can go the following week (good thing about being a FL resident). Well for the original trip which is really the one we want to stick with because it'll be during our son's 2nd birthday my husband will be out of town but we could possibly get him to fly into Orlando while I drive up with our son the night before. Not ideal but definitely doable.

So in that scenario I could either pick him up from the airport or he can just take DME to our hotel. We've NEVER done DME before since we always drive up. So I have two questions...

1) Can we do DME for just him?
2) If he will only have a carry on does he still need a bag tag?

Thanks!

No problem at all. Just make the reservation for your dh..give DME his flight info.
He doesn't need any tags if he is going to just have carryon bags with him. They will just go underneath the bus he is riding on.

I have done that many times. I drive down with the camper, and friends join me by flying in and taking DME. Most of the time, we do get tags and boarding passes for our entire group, but not really an issue. Just discard/don't use the tags/boarding passes you don't need. Having a reservation and not using it is never a problem.
