DME question

How far ahead do you have to book Magical Express? My friends still haven't decided if they're flying for our Dec. trip. I just need to give them a deadline to make a decision.

If you use a travel agent then DME reservations are made when you make your deposit. We always fly, never drive, but the way airline prices and suitcase gouging is on the rise, driving may be a distinct possiblity next year.

Nope, they'll be booking flights themselves; right now we all just have room only reservations through Disney. I feel like I'm the travel agent for everything else!

I've called as late as the week before to add DME. I'd say if by two weeks before they have not purchased air tickets, then they will probably be driving.
