DME Question - if you are a no-show

Hello

Ok. So I rented disney points and attached the DME to my ressie. However, since flying from Canada was a big deal, I was going to stay at the airport hotel the day I flew in and the day before I left. So I booked DME with dummy flights for my check in and check out days at BW.

I got great flights and should be in by about noon on arrival day so instead of doing the airport hotel I booked a night at a value through disney directly and added ground transportation with that ressie.

I will still stay at an airport hotel the day we leave and have dummy flight info that our flight leaves late the evening of our check out day.

So my question is this, as it stands, I would be a 'no show' for the DME arrival reservation I have through my rented points because I will have arrived at Disney the day before. Is this okay?

I don't want to cancel my initial DME reservation since I will still use it when leaving. Can I leave everything as is or will it mess anyone up?

you can cancell your arrival reservation and it won't effect your departure reservation.


as for being a no show - nothing happens. we booked ME for our last trip when we throught we were flying - months later we decided to drive and i completely forgot about ME until the night before we were to leave and there was a notice on the door.

we got in really really late and our daughter was actually the one to pick up the envelope.

i didn't find it again until we got home as she had put it in her backpack with her colouring books and didn't tell us.

we weren't charged or called - i wish i had cancelled it though incase someone else needed it.

just don't be late for your DME return bus from your resort. they will leave without you if your not there on time, they have a schedule to keep and others on board.
