The Good:
We went thru security, no wait, but my small backpack was emptied by TSA because I had a roll of quarters in the bottem. (Little did I know that my cell phone was also emptied, and is now MISSING)
We used DME and checked our bags at Newark on Sunday 11/20. We landed at 10:30AM, were at the resort by 11:30AM, our room was ready and we dropped our carry on bags and went to AK. When we got back at 4PM, our luggage was in our room.
Monday 11/21
We had pre-arranged a two day rental with National and picked up the car at the Dolphin at 3PM. We rented a compact but used an upgrade coupon and got a full size Impala.
The Bad:
Wednesday check out time was 11:00AM. We had a 3:15PM flight back to EWR from MCO. We used our rental car so didn't use the bus. We ate breakfast at Coronado springs then brought our bags to the airline checkin desk outside the hotel. I pulled the car over to unload the bags, and as I was getting a bag out of the car I hit my face with the pointed part of the door. Nice black eye.
We checked two pieces of luggage on Jet Blue back to EWR.
The flight was scheduled fro 3:15PM, but didn't depart until 4:15PM. They loaded us up at 3:20PM and we sat on the runway awaiting clearance.
We went to pick up our two checked bags at Jet Blue in EWR. My bags were not on the carosel, but I noticed my large suitcase sitting outside the Jet Blue luggage office. I claimed my bag (Must of been put on an earlier flight), and told him my medium size bag was missing. I filed a claim and went home.
It is now 11:26AM and I have not found my bag or my cell phone.
We are now off to visit family for dinner. Hope my bag shows up.

Update: My bag went to JFK instead of EWR. It is now back in EWR and will be sent DSL tonight.
Looks like it was a luggage handler mistake at Orlando and not a Airline Check In mistake because the bags both were tagged to EWR>
