DME info ALL wrong

Not too big of a deal from what the CM says when I called DME today.
My DME tags and vouchers came today. THe resort pre-printed was for POR, but we come into AKL---that is not a biggie--the biggie is that it has us coming in a DAY later, and all the wrong flight info.

I called (they said good thing I did) and straightened it out or else we wouldn't have DME ressies for that day, but instead the following day and would have been stuck trying to fix it @ MCO instead of heading on our merry lil way..lol

So word of advice, check those tags, vouchers etc for your info to be correct, and call them if there is any issues.

Wow--good thing you checked and got it straightened out. That would NOT have been a pleasant way to start your vacation!! Have a great time! :tink: pixiedust:

Thanks! People say I am obsessing too much over a vacation but oddly enough, this is ONE strain of OCD that is fun! HAHA. I want it all to be perfect and worrying actually passes the time :) Crazy I know--but Disney does it to me! haha
 
When I get to the airport I want to be out of there and on my way ASAP !!! Good thing you caught it !!

That was my point..The CM assured me everything was fine and that calling was the right thing to do, but now I have to take my tags since they won't send new ones and Black out the resort listed and write in a new one...Black Magic marker stinks since Animal Kingdom Lodge is kindom long to write and pen doesn't work on the surface of the tags too well...
Sigh---as long as my luggage gets there at SOME point lol.
 
The same thing happened to me. When our DME passes came (the day before our trip) I looked over them and realized they were wrong. I called right away and got it straightened out. There was no time to get new ones issued so they told me to take a sharpie to them and make the corrections on them. I was still nervous when we got to MCO. But everything worked out fine.
 
(copied from another post) Write down the name of the person(s) you talked to on the phone. This way despite all the complaints from taxi and limo operators losing business I doubt that ME CM's will argue with you if you finally show up with an incorrect reservation.

Don't bother with fixing an incorrect return reservation over the phone, it is easier to fix that at the resort (at least a day before check out).

GOod to hear someone else had to do the same! They aren't looking so nice with the sharpie! AKL written out in full is pretty long...Maybe I can just put AKL!? HEHE

Thanks for that! I usually write down the CM's name but I didn't get to this time...My phone wouldn't stop beeping in with call waiting and it got annoying.

Good thing my return info wasn't wrong (well flight # so they'd be sending me to the airport 6 hrs prior instead of 3).
