DME - can we choose departure time?

Return flight (MCO) at 11:00pm. DW prefers to have dinner at MCO before check-in (say around 7:00pm). Is it possible to request ME around 6:00pm? If not, we may need to get a towncar to MCO?

I heard that resorts will pick the ME bus that is 3 hours prior to flight.

I'm sure you can request an earlier pick up time, in fact international passengers are supposed to request one to allow time to clear customs. You're not allowed to request a later pickup time since the schedule allows for delays, additional stops and drivers that follow the speed limit.

I used to request later pickup times from Mears. They were accommodating, provided that I was willing to acknowledge that they were not liable for any expenses I might incur if I happened to miss my flight, due to the fact that I personally requested a change in their suggested pickup time.

I don't know how this works with ME, but after experiencing the security lines at MCO on my last two trips, I wouldn't risk a later pickup.

They probably would have no problem with an earlier pickup, though.
