Last year we took advantage of DME to and from the Orlando airport. But, since our airline (US Air) was not a "participating" airline we could not check our bags at the resort (WL) for our return trip. Now I've heard that even though your airline doesn't "participate" most resorts will still check your bags and print a boarding pass for you at the resort for your return trip. Does anyone know if this is true, specifically for the Boardwalk? I will be flying US Air again and they are still not listed as a participating airline. Thanks in advance.

Your resort may print your boarding pass but they can't check your bags if your airline isn't participating. The resort check in desk handles the partcipating airlines. The CM's at the front desk may print your boarding pass if you ask at a time they aren't busy.

There is a thread at the top of the transportation board that explains about this.

You can have the Lobby Concierge desk print out your boarding passes from the Internet. However, if your airline is not a participating airline, you cannot check your bags.

We stayed at the BWV in December. The day before we left, I went to the front desk and gave them my airline info and they printed out the boarding passes for us. Our airline is not a participating one, so we left our bags with the baggage CM and proceeded to the parks for the afternoon. At 5:00, we came back to BWV and they brought our luggage out to the DME bus for us.
