DME - Arriving a Day Early

Our friends arrive in Orlando one day before their check day in at CBR and are staying offsite for one night. Is there any way they qualify for Magical Express when they arrive at the airport?

Yes - anyone with an onsite reservation qualifies for a r/t DME ride regardless of how they got to the airport. Just have them call DME directly and make the reservation.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but its my understanding that their one ride from the airport and one ride to the airport needs to occur during their stay. Being that they will need the ride before their onsite check-in date, I don't think they'd be able to use DME. At least not complimentary - they used to offer DME for cost for those without an onsite reservation, but I don't know if that's still an option.

When you say "off site", are you referring to a hotel near the airport in that they could easily return to MCO and take ME to CBR? That's totally fine. If by "off site", you referring to somewhere near Disney but not on property, I see no reason to return to MCO just to catch the DME bus.

Well, the ride could occur during their stay. Just throwing dates out, the couple arrives on the 11th, and they check in to CBR on the 12th. They can get DME from the airport on the 12th. They would just have to return to the airport.

Thanks everyone. Doesn’t make sense for them to return to the airport. They are staying their first night at Wyndham bonnet creek before moving over to CBR. They can use ME for their return back to MCO though.

Yes correct, but OP said they arrive one day before their WDW stay and need a ride from the airport on their arrival day. So, the question was whether they are able to ride DME before their stay, and the answer to that is no, not complimentary at least.
