DME & a Split Stay?

I am arriving in Orlando on Dec 15. We are staying at the ASMU from Dec 15-18. Then we are headed to the WL from the 18th-20th. Will the DME move our luggage from ASMU to the WL. Or will we need to call a cab or something?

DME will not move your luggage from one resort to another but bell services will.

When you are ready to have your bags taken to WL, just have the luggage people at ASMusic have it...either take it to them, or wait for them to come to your room. Then, you can head off and have fun in the parks. Whenever you choose to, head to WL and get checked in. I usually try to get to my second resort around lunchtime. But, be aware, your bags may very well not get to you until late afternoon. It is not a quick process. Or, you can just have a cab called, then take yourself and your luggage over to WL.

Just to verify, I transferred from ASMusic to AKL. I dropped my luggage off at bell services, went off to the parks, then returned to AKL. Most recently, I've been told that they don't promise your luggage will be delivered before 3:00.

We did a split stay in October, and we were told that the luggage transfer is done between 1 and 3 pm or something like that, so not to expect our bags at the new resort until at least 3:30. Also, I was TOLD that they would not be sent to our room at the new resort, we would have to go to or call bell services to get them.

When we went into our new room before heading out to dinner, they were already in there.
