DLX Dining Plan Vs Club Level

Can some one please help me out with some Disney math? Would it be better to stay at club level & have breakfast there & get the regular dining plan or get the deluxe dining plan and stay in a standard room? We will have 2 adults and 3 teenagers ( 2 of them boys and you know the teenage boys eat ALOT)
I am debating Poly or Contemporary.

Price would be about the same. I have not stayed club level but sounds like a nice continental breakfast, hot snacks and drinks with desserts. However items are available at limited times and in limited quantities. Dlxdp I have done, any 3 meals anywhere that accepts ddp. Boys could literally eat all buffets, plus appetizers and 2 snacks. We love doing shows and character meals. However if you are fine with cs 1 meal a day do reg room, reg plan and oop for breakfast and apps.
